VALORANT Patch 13.06
VALORANT Patch 13.06 introduces the Warden rifle, Agent Mastery, Gauntlet: Glitched, Range access while queueing, and major client and Competitive updates.
All Platforms
General Updates
Riot reports banning approximately 1,600 accounts daily through boosting detection—over 90,000 accounts since July 20.
Client Updates
Home and Lobby merge into one hub with party controls, Events, Missions, the active map pool, Leaderboards, and limited-time features.
Global Navigation receives a revised layout and more consistent navigation and back behavior.
New Collection indicators identify recently earned content.
Indicators clear when viewing the Collection or leaving the game and do not persist into the next session.
Additional Mode Select changes are planned for Patch 13.08.
Competitive Updates
Range and Queue
Enter the Range after starting matchmaking, or start matchmaking from inside the Range.
Range access may initially be unavailable for expected short queues, becoming available if the wait runs longer.
Premier, Deathmatch, and other modes without Agent Select do not support queueing from the Range.
Performance Score replaces Average Combat Score (ACS).
A 0–500 score measures contributions beyond damage and kills.
Available in Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Premier; determines MVP and scoreboard placement in these modes.
End of Game details explain score contributions and proximity to a Masterful performance.
Accolades
Track standout performances and personal bests for the current Act and lifetime.
Earned only in Competitive and Premier.
Tracking begins with this patch; historical matches do not count.
Rank Legacy
Tracks how often each rank has been achieved.
Each rank’s counter can increase once per three-Act period: Acts I–III and Acts IV–VI.
Demoting into a rank does not increase its counter.
Career and Competitive Hub
Career combines top Agents, Match History, and rank.
Competitive Hub adds dedicated Accolade and Rank Legacy pages.
Friends can view Career and the Competitive Hub Overview; dedicated pages are private.
Upcoming features:
Map Rating in 13.08, plus Competitive Flex and Radiant experience updates in 14.00.
Gameplay Systems Updates
Redesigned End of Game flow highlights performance, rewards, match details, MVPs, promotions, and progression.
Players can advance through the screens, inspect details, requeue, or return to the Lobby.
Modes Updates
Gauntlet: Glitched — new limited-time mode
Eight duos—16 players—compete in rotating 2v2 battles across four arenas.
Round losses reduce team health; reaching zero eliminates the team.
Eliminated players can leave and requeue immediately.
Weapons change between stages, and later losses cost more health.
Queue solo or with a friend.
Draft randomized abilities from different Agents between rounds.
Add abilities or upgrade existing abilities from Level 1 to Level 3.
Reroll options or craft another slot to develop a build.
Level 2 upgrades have a rare chance to glitch, including manually detonated Raze Boom Bots and enlarged Gekko Wingmen.
Round winners enter the Winner’s Circle to watch remaining fights.
Retake leaves the limited-time mode rotation.
Player Behavior Updates
Riot Voice Evaluation expands detection support for Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean.
Voice Comms Abuse reports help identify disruptive behavior and improve detection.
Progression Updates
Agent Mastery
Each Agent receives separate Act Levels, Lifetime Levels, a Reward Track, and an Agent ID.
Everyone starts at zero; previous Agent playtime and progression do not carry over.
Mastery Points (MP)
Earned by playing an Agent in supported modes, with bonuses for wins and strong performance.
Increasing an Act Level also increases Lifetime Level: 1 Act Level = 1 Lifetime Level.
Act Levels
Reset each Act, with 10 main levels per Agent.
Levels 4, 7, and 10 unlock Portrait Accents showcasing investment from the current and previous Act.
Overleveling continues after Act Level 10.
Lifetime Levels and rewards
Lifetime Levels persist across Acts and unlock access to Reward Track items.
Rewards are purchased with Kingdom Credits.
Tracks include previous Agent Gear rewards and new items; already unlocked Agent Gear is retained.
Agent ID components can be unlocked, customized, and equipped through each Agent’s Reward Track.

This visual issue does not affect earning the Accolade; a fix is planned for the next patch.
